Full Moon Falling on Friday the 13th?
Many law enforcement officials dread the full moon as do a lot of mental healthcare professionals. Although there have been no legitimate studies that prove people act any stranger during a full moon than on other days, people employed by these two professions have plenty of stories to tell.
But what happens when a full moon falls on Friday the 13th? Well, people in the central and western United States and Canada, as well as Hawaii will find out this month as the full moon falls on this fabled, and often dreaded, day.
According to calendar-12.com, the full moon for September will reach its peak at 11:35 p.m. CDT in the USA on Friday, September 13. This is my time zone so I’m kind of excited! Huffpost.com states this last happened in 2014 and is not set to happen again until 2049.
Native Americans have deemed this month’s full moon as the Harvest Moon which offers the most light at a time when needed to complete the harvest.
Full moons are generally the ideal time to bring things to a close or end a troubling habit. A time of positive transformation and rebirth. This month, the sun will be opposite the moon so for the two weeks immediately following the full moon, family connections, home life and other personal relationships will be in full focus.

This will be the ideal time to reassess any personal connections that are not currently serving your higher good. You will be able to view these issues through unfiltered glasses and in an impartial manner.
Consequently, work and home issues will also be at odds. In addition, there will be a very fine line between what we want and what we need. Gamblers, shopaholics and those who partake in any other addictive behavior must be especially careful during this full moon as the temptations to overindulge will be much greater than normal.
This will be especially important on Friday, September 13, when, as the old adage says, “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.” Keep this in mind.
If you choose to go out on this night, take advantage of a designated driver or ride share. If you’re a spender, then maybe enlist the assistance of a close friend or relative to help you keep your finances in control during the days immediately before and after this full moon.
If you are experiencing work or relationship issues, take a beat before saying or doing something that you cannot take back. Maybe call in sick on Friday and just take a personal day to avoid any potential conflicts. Do not make any rash decisions at this time and if you find yourself in an argument of any kind, just walk away. The more determined you are to prove yourself right, the more it will all come back to bit you on the butt.
