Most of us have been there at one point or another. We meet a person and it feels that we’ve known them for a lifetime. The link is really strong, and it is natural to want to try anything and everything to make this work, but it can swiftly become a matter that is just taking too much of our energy, too much of our effort, for no results. Here starts the wondering: “What if I just give up too soon?” “Perhaps, if I wait long enough they will realize…” At this point we are just so invested in the relationship and we have put so much of ourselves into it that we feel unable to take a step back. They are our soulmate. Right? And giving up feels like delegitimizing our feelings.
Take a deep breath. I feel you! Your feelings are legit, your connection is real, but the truth about soulmates is that they don’t always come to stay, and it’s nothing that you did or didn’t do. There are connections made above that will enter into your life, but it is important to remember that you are the master, that you have come here to live the human experience, to sublimate your soul. However, none of this means that you are not free. You are free. And so is the other part involved.
It is hard to separate the Soul from the Ego, but ultimately, it is the latter who makes the decisions in this plane of existence, and you keep every right to make yours, regardless of the contracts that your soul acquired before you even came here.
