Jealousy… that green eyed monster that we have all experienced. Either feeling the envy and jealousy of someone else\u2019s good fortune or finding out that someone you thought was in your corner 100% and should be happy for you is, not. Either experience is not pleasant. We all deal with our issues of insecurities is some area of our life, so when the subject of someone being jealous of you, (unless you have a narcistic streak in you of \u2018it\u2019s all about me\u2019, it usually catches us by surprise. Nothing feels worse than achieving a desired goal, getting that coveted new designer purse or shoes, landing the big deal or promotion or finding your Prince Charming, being in love and making plans for a future partnership and discovering the person you thought would be most happy for you or people around you in general don\u2019t feel or act positive about it. Instead, all the signs are there that they are jealous of your good fortune, your skills or new-found happiness. A person\u2019s jealous feelings can cause them to act unkindly towards you and one is never sure where to put those unexpected reactions of your new achievements or success.<\/p>\n

  1. They hate you for no reason. This is the easiest one to spot. You have done nothing, not interacted in anyway to bring on the hate but there it is and they make it known.   4. They will always over talk you with their own latest successes. Someone who is jealous of you may be more inclined to flaunt their success more than it\u2019s really worth or downright lie about what they have accomplished to match or better yours. They may be more apt to flaunt their own achievements while you\u2019re celebrating your own. <\/li>\n

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery\u2026or so they say but if jealousy is the core foundation of imitating what you do, they usually want to be better than you but also be just like you. They may imitate the way you talk or the way you dress in order to feel better about themselves. <\/li>\n
  6. They are competitive with you and feel the strong need and desire to \u2018one up you or best you\u2019 in almost anything you do or have. This is a sign of great insecurity, arrogance or the need to prove their superiority.\u201d<\/li>\n
