Perhaps you are feeling incapable of fancying someone else or you think that you&#8217;re not going to be able to love again or you are just filled with sadness and a longing that doesn&#8217;t go away. Sounds familiar?<\/p>\n<p>Since probably you&#8217;ve answered yes to that question, mainly because it has happened to all of us, here&#8217;s a little ritual that can help you release the attachments that are linking you to that person so you can regain your freedom and open up to love again. <\/p>\n<p>This is a very simple ritual at everyone&#8217;s reach. You don&#8217;t need anything special to get started and all physical items are optional, depending on whether or not you feel that using them is going to make it more real to you. <\/p>\n<h3>What You Need<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A calm space where you can be seated or laid down. <\/li>\n<li>Optional: A candle, some shooting incense (like natural incense, lavender, rosemary&#8230;) or shooting music. <\/li>\n<li>Optional: A rope, ribbon or thread. Whenever you&#8217;re ready, take a comfortable position whether sitting or laying down. At this point, if you are using a rope, ribbon or thread, you may want to have it at your hand&#8217;s reach, and so the scissors.<\/p>\n<p>Get into a meditative state. When you are feeling \u201cin the zone\u201d you have to visualize your past lover in front of yourself. You will start gazing into their eyes, and then, after taking a few deep breaths, you will \u201cscan\u201d your body in search of energetic cords that tie you to this person. <\/p>\n<p>If you had a very intense sexual connection, you will probably find that you have a cord that is linking both your root chakras together, signaling the sexual attachment. It is also fairly common to find the same cord linking your heart chakras. <\/p>\n<p>If you had trouble communicating or there are things that were left unsaid, there will be cords linking your throat chakras, and when you cannot get this person out of your mind, it is common to find cords between your third eye chakras. As well, when you have been overly protective of this person or you have done most of the job in a relationship, you will probably find energetic ties that come from the palms of your hands. <\/p>\n<p>These are the most common energetic ties, though you don&#8217;t have why to have them all! Once you are aware of the energetic cords that are tying you to this person, the next step is to feel them, and whenever you are ready, you will visualize some golden scissors or a sharp knife that you will take to sever those ties. I recommend you to do it one by one, and to take your time. Once you cut a tie, you will reclaim your energy back and fill the \u201chole\u201d that your tie left with it. At this point, you may want to replicate the cut in the physical world with the scissors and rope. <\/p>\n<p>It is perfectly natural to feel emotional while doing this ritual. Take the time you need. Thank your lover when you are done and send them off. When you are ready, go back to an state of awareness. You may feel euphoric or you may feel like having a good cry to help you release. Do whatever works for you! <\/p>\n<p>You may feel the need to repeat this ritual after a few weeks. If so, go ahead.
