Thank you for taking time to read the inaugural posting of Tami Time, a weekly Tarot-based advice column of sorts.<\/p>\n

This week, I tackle a few topics from accepting a possibly gay grandson to getting contradictory answers from different Psychics and simply progressing in life. TJ expresses great concern with her 5-year-old grandson being drawn to colorful costume jewelry and wanting to carry a purse. Sasha asks about a stagnating relationship while Pat raises a concern about their son. Lisa asks whom to believe when different Psychics offer up different answers on the same subject.<\/p>\n

\u201cTammi please help! I\u2019m so glad you are offering this Thank you. I think my grandson might be gay, he is liking big colorful girls jewelry and insists on carrying a purse. He is 5. Thank you.\u201d – TJ<\/strong><\/p>\n

TJ, we are constantly growing, exploring and \u2013 hopefully \u2013 progressing as humans. Your grandson having an appreciation for big, colorful jewelry does not necessarily mean he is exhibiting homosexual tendencies, but if it does, that\u2019s ok. As I look at your grandson, I drew The World<\/strong> card which indicates he is very much advanced for his age and the fact he is simply quite comfortable in his own skin. Many of us spend most of our lives trying to reach this point and he is already there.<\/p>\n

I would encourage you to try to adopt a more accepting attitude toward your grandson\u2019s behavior. He enjoys colorful jewelry and purses and you are telling him that only girls like that. He knows he is not a girl so therefore, there must be something wrong with him for liking these things.<\/p>\n

The last thing you want is for him to think there is something wrong with him. <\/p>\n

The key, Lisa, is to NOT seek out guidance from several Readers in the first place as this results in greatly scattered energies around you, thus making it difficult to get a truly insightful answer. I encourage clients to seek out one or two Readers whom they trust and stick with them.<\/p>\n

Suppose you are seeking answers about whether your significant other is cheating. You talk with five different Readers, three say he is faithful while two say otherwise. It is human nature to focus on the negative so you may become quite wrapped up in the idea of him cheating. This greatly influences your reading and you begin to project those energies so subsequent readings would only confirm your suspicions even though your significant other may not even look toward another girl.<\/p>\n

Another key point to keep in mind when seeking guidance from several different Readers is that we pick up energies from each person with whom we interact; good, bad or indifferent. All of those scattered energies can be quite overwhelming when you don\u2019t know how to effectively release them.<\/p>\n

Sasha, the card I drew in reference to your question was the Six of Swords<\/strong>, reversed. At its very most basic, this card speaks of triumph. With it being reversed, I am seeing that for you to try and hold on in this particular situation would be futile. I am sorry, hon. <\/p>\n

\u201cWill my son find his way in this world?\u201d – Pat<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most definitely, Pat. In looking at your son, I drew the Six of Cups<\/strong> which speaks of many different opportunities ahead for him. This will take a while as I sense many struggles around your son right now. I am seeing a loss of direction and some rather questionable choices being made, as well.<\/p>\n

Try to not give your son advice but rather be supportive and offer \u201cguidance\u201d which is greatly different than advice. Guidance is gently pointing him in the right direction while advice is basically telling him what you think he must do. He will be greatly resistant to anyone\u2019s advice right now.<\/p>\n
