This week in Tami Time, we hear from S.J. who struggles with her relationship anxiety, while Deb seeks a message for her highest good, and Nancy inquires about an old love.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a lot of anxiety about myself in future relationships. I feel I carry a lot of baggage from my health issues and will end up in self-sabotaging actions in relationships. Just wondering what I could do to embrace my flaws?\u201d \u2013 S.J.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main thing, hon, is to know and fully accept that we ALL have flaws. We all have some degree of baggage be it from failed past romantic connections, our own parents or even as a result of what we see on television, in movies and read in books. I am not talking about simply emotional baggage. I am also referring to simply how we see ourselves physically. <\/p>\n

We are made to believe anything less than physical perfection is unacceptable. We must be tall, thin, attractive with well-coiffed hair and other perfect attributes. <\/p>\n

You need to be more realistic in how you see yourself and in what you expect not only from a potential partner, but from yourself. No one person is perfect. No one relationship is perfect \u2026 not romantic ones, not familial ones, not friendships, not even parent\/child connections. <\/p>\n

Your card which came up for this particular question is The World<\/a><\/strong>. Often, this card depicts a woman either fully exposed (nude) or in clothing and\/or a setting that completely exposes her body to the world. This screams for us (especially women) to fully embrace whom we are and what we have to offer \u2026 flaws and all.<\/p>\n

Our flaws contribute greatly to who we are as individuals and each bump, bruise and scar has a story to tell be they physical, mental or emotional.<\/p>\n

Going into any new shared connection \u2013 be it a new friendship or potential romantic relationship \u2013 we always have certain expectations and desires. We hold new romantic partners to certain standards.<\/p>\n

It is one thing to have high standards, but having high expectations is very different and that is where most people trip themselves up. <\/p>\n

Having high standards means you feel your potential partner must have a good job and be financially secure and independent. It means wanting that person to be attractive or live in a certain geographicgal location. Having high expectations means you expect that person to fully understand you and all of your wants and needs without you ever having to express them. It means you expect that person to treat you 100% equally as you do them such as doing only what interests you or bringing you frequent little surprises for no reason or simply switching out the toilet paper roll. That\u2019s just unrealistic.<\/p>\n

You have high expectations of yourself as a person, especially physically. Be more realistic.<\/p>\n

Through the Queen of Cups<\/a><\/strong> and in connecting with your spirit guides, Deb, I am seeing that you need to be more mindful of how you treat yourself; more importantly, in the things that you say to yourself. <\/p>\n

For the most part, hon, I see that you are a relatively positive person; however, sometimes you can be a bit too critical or dismissive of yourself. Always know your worth, command (not demand) respect and hold those around you to a higher standard as it pertains directly to yourself.<\/p>\n

The Queen of Cups speaks of compassion and perception as well as introspection. In this case, she talks of how you see yourself, hon, and your internal dialogue. She wants you to be your very own cheerleader! <\/p>\n

\u201cThere is someone whom I still care for. His name is Ryan. Does he still love me and will he come back to my life? Will I ever hear from him? Will I get a promotion at work?\u201d \u2013 Nancy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nancy, I drew the Three of Swords<\/a><\/strong> while focusing on your question about yourself and Ryan. This card speaks of emotional pain and a broken heart. As related to your question, it tells me that Ryan will most likely not ever return to your life as a fully committed romantic partner. I am sorry, but it looks as though he has moved on which is also being indicated in this card.<\/p>\n

In addition to the pain and heartache, this card tells us that Ryan\u2019s attention and interest are with someone else at this time. He may not be actively involved with anyone right now, but he is feeling drawn to another.<\/p>\n

Ryan will always hold a special place for you in his heart, hon, but he does not look to love you any longer. He most likely will not make any attempt to reach out to you in the future. Again, I am sorry.<\/p>\n

While I had a tremendous amount of difficulty shuffling the cards on your question about Ryan which indicates a great deal of negativity, they shuffled quite easily when looking at a potential promotion for you at work.<\/p>\n

I drew the Two of Swords<\/a><\/strong>, reversed. Through this card, I do foresee a promotion for you in the future (closer to the middle of 2020), but it also warns for you to be careful what you wish for. This means you need to be sure of what you are getting into before you accept any promotion. <\/p>\n

Thoroughly research the specific position and make sure you have a clear understanding of what is expected of you, Nancy. Seriously take into consideration the time to pay ratio.<\/p>\n
