When it comes to saying it like it is, there are very few that will do it like Adele. She has in the past been known to stop her performances to tell off audience members. She has a very down to earth approach to her shows. This endears her to a lot of people\u00a0because they feel that she is really genuine. She doesn\u2019t need all the frills like other celebrities. However, she has once again managed to get herself in the headlines with her honesty.<\/p>\n
When asked to perform at halftime at the super bowl, she turned it down. Most celebrities would have jumped at the chance, but Adele felt it wasn\u2019t for her and rather than being indecisive about it, said a straight out \u201cno\u201d.<\/p>\n
Adele is quoted as saying:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cFirst of all, I\u2019m not doing Super Bowl,\u201d Adele told the crowd at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles. \u201cI mean, come on, that show is not about music and I don\u2019t really- I can\u2019t dance or anything like that. They were very kind and asked me, but I said no.\u201d<\/p>\n If there is one thing we have learned from Adele, the lady knows what she wants and what she doesn\u2019t. Well, The King of Swords is pointing towards the stuff she doesn\u2019t like dealing with but has too. This is a bit like us all. Even Adele has the mundane to deal with, but this is perhaps why I find her endearing. Her soul is a good one, nothing, not even fame will change her personality. The Hanged Man is the card of sacrifice and Adele is very aware that with fame comes sacrifice. It\u2019s a kind of sacrifice of freedom. The Star Card is a time to shine and open new avenues. I feel from this card that there could be some new works in the pipeline. This is probably another reason she said no to the Super bowl.
