All she wanted for her birthday was to be able to help. She gathered her family and anyone who was willing to give a helping hand. A hundred sandwiches were made, but her \u2018party\u2019 invitations weren\u2019t sent out to her friends. She had a unique and brilliant idea as to who her guests would be instead. Homeless people and anyone who might be in need of food.<\/p>\n
Tatum, although very young, already feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders. She feels like she should do something, and her \u2018simple\u2019 act of kindness wasn\u2019t without effect. Her sandwiches found their \u2018homes\u2019 quickly and easily. And probably there weren\u2019t many 10-yer-olds around, who got as many birthday wishes as Tatum did.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like them coming to us and saying thank you, I know I\u2019m only 10 years old but I know I can make their day. And I\u2019m happy of what I did. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s right that all of us get to eat and they don\u2019t. They might be starving so I just thought of this idea for my birthday.\u201d She said.<\/p>\n
Wise words indeed, and very remarkable. Can\u2019t wait to see what she asks for next year. Let\u2019s honour her selfishness by asking the cards to see what is in store for her. Happy birthday Tatum! Don\u2019t ever change.<\/p>\n

\nA whole new world is awaiting Tatum. She is but at the beginning of her journey. There is a long way to go before she reaches her full potential. She will have plenty of opportunities to shine, and she will.<\/p>\n
