Movie star Jeremy Renner apparently fractured both his arms, his right elbow and left wrist, while filming a stunt for his new movie \u201cTags.\u201d Renner revealed the specifics of his injury during a Friday press conference at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic. \u201cThat\u2019s how it goes,\u201d Renner said, according to Variety. \u201cIt\u2019s part of the job.\u201d But Renner, an incredibly busy man, as most movie stars are wont to be, said it\u2019s not really going to affect his schedule. \u201cI\u2019m sort of a problem solver, you know. There will be an effect to it but it won\u2019t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ll heal fast. I\u2019m doing everything I can to heal faster.\u201d He added, \u201cI\u2019m doing a job that isn\u2019t really requiring a ton of stunts. It\u2019s not an action movie; it\u2019s a comedy. It just happens to have a few stunts in it. So, I don\u2019t have to beat a whole lot of people up or do anything crazy. So, it won\u2019t really affect my job. It affects how I get dressed in the morning. I can\u2019t tie my shoes but outside of that and everything else, I can kind of get by.\u201d\t<\/p>\n

Of course, the big drama over this stunt accident was erroneous assumptions of the reporting media that Renner was injured on the new Avengers: Infinity War movie which he has yet to set foot on. \u201cI got a lot of phone calls about that\u201d Renner told The Wrap with a weary sigh. Even though the initial story was quickly corrected, the damage was done. If you search Jeremy Renner on Twitter, you will find countless articles locating the accident on the Avenger\u2019s movie set. \u201cIt\u2019s frustrating.\u201d said Renner in a conversation that dealt less with one accident and more with the perils of being a public figure in this age of Twitter\u2019s version of the old broken-telephone game. \u201cThese thing that get misconstrued in the media. It\u2019s really the most awful, strange things. These things that can be damaging to an artist or a career.
