\nYou can appreciate Republican John McCain\u2019s viewpoint on the pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, as he has been loudly vocal on his disapproval of the immigrant travel ban Trump put into effect January. Arpaio is a man that totally embraces the new Trump era belief that people from other countries other than the United States or not the right color or sexual orientation can lose their human rights and become suspect to anything he might come up with to charge you or just hold you for awhile. The pardon of a likeminded bedfellow of Trump should not come as a big surprise to anyone. Hell, he blatantly announced he would use the Executive Office privilege of pardon for his own sons if they were convicted on the Russian election conspiracy theories. But\u2026Arpaio supported Trump during the presidential campaign last year and both men have promoted the lie that former President Barack Obama was not born in the United States.

\nMcCain harshly criticized the President for the pardon of Joe Arpaio. the former Maricopa County, Arizona, sheriff who was found guilty of criminal contempt after illegally targeting Latinos. John McCain has had a pretty powerful year standing up to Trump\u2019s ineffective running of this country and putting into place a more elitist standard to make laws by. His vote was the final death vote of Republican betrayal to stop the dismantling of Obama Care. So, you can see why McCain might be a little pissed off in the flagrant misuse of the highest held office of the United States to pardon one from a crime. McCain basically said the pardon undermined the president\u2019s \u201cclaim for the respect of rule of law.\u201d Or it could be he has never forgotten that in 2015, Trump suggested McCain, who was a prisoner of war during the Vietnam War, wasn\u2019t really a war hero because he got caught by the enemy. Yeah right? This from a man whose only battle zone he has been in was pushing himself to the front of the line at McDonalds. lol

\nTrump\u2019s pardon of Arpaio, who was found to have \u201cwillfully violated\u201d a 2011 court order barring him from detaining individuals based solely on suspicion about their legal status, was the first of his presidency. McCain issued a statement after Trump\u2019s announcement, saying it undermined the president\u2019s professed respect for the rule of law. \u201cNo one is above the law and the individuals entrusted with the privilege of being sworn law officers should always seek to be beyond reproach in their commitment to fairly enforcing the laws they swore to uphold.\u201d Mr. Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt for continuing to illegally profile Latinos living in Arizona based on their perceived immigration status in violation of a judge\u2019s orders.\u201d \u201cThe President has the authority to make this pardon, but doing so at this time undermines his claim for the respect of rule of law as Mr. Arpaio has shown no remorse for his actions.\u201d The White House defended the pardon by saying the 85-year-old Arpaio had history working in law enforcement.\n<\/p>\n
Trump is the absolute poster boy of President Bush\u2019s days of \u201ceither you are with me or against me.\u201d If you are in his corner, he will bend rules and break laws to be the big hero to you but as they say about the devil\u2019s contract signed in blood\u2026.God help you if you decide he might not be right and pull your support.\n<\/p>\n

One that Arpaio thought he was above his own law and would never be prosecuted let alone convicted and have all his power stripped or the unexpected Trump decision to pardon him.<\/p>\n
