The 42-year-old actress, has been separated from the ultimate family man Brad Pritt for almost a year now. Angelina has admitted that she does not find single life really all that appealing! Yikes, you think? With six kids? I truly feel that Angelina and Brad still love each other very much but both have addictive personalities which came into play of them separating. Brad with alcohol and Angelina with\u2026.well just plain OCD control, which I guess is what Brad found appealing about her. She is a marvelous and an unconventional mother but possibly not a great partner as she stays driven. I feel she misses the finer points of what a relationship with an adult is. But one thing is for sure, I truly believe Jolie is heartbroken that her marriage to Pitt did not make it.

\nJolie filed who filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, got pretty candid in her recent interviews about life now as a single parent. \u201cI don\u2019t enjoy being single,\u201d she told the Sunday Telegraph. \u201cIt\u2019s not something I wanted. There\u2019s nothing nice about it. It\u2019s just hard.\u201d Jolie and Pitt, the former Hollywood power couple, met on the set of \u201cMr. & Mrs. Smith,\u201d and were together for 12 years and married for two. The couple split in September 2016 and Jolie\u2019s life since has been physically and emotionally taxing. \u201cSometimes maybe it appears I am pulling it all together, but really I am just trying to get through my days.\u201d \u201cEmotionally, it\u2019s been a very difficult year,\u201d she added. \u201cI have had some other health issues. So, my health is something I have to monitor.\u201d

\nIn 2013, Jolie had a preventative double mastectomy and in 2015, she had her ovaries removed. She took this route due to both her mother and aunt dying of breast cancer. Last year, around the time of her breakup, she also developed hypertension and Bell\u2019s palsy, which causes a drooping in the face, due to damaged facial nerves. Yet she states in her interview that she is trying to stay positive. \u201cI feel sometimes that my body has taken a hit but I try to laugh as much as possible,\u201d she said. \u201cWe tend to get so stressed that our children feel our stress when they need to feel our joy. Even if you are going through chemo, you need to find the ability to love and laugh. It may sound like a postcard, but it\u2019s true.\u201d Jolie recently moved into a permanent residence in the Los Angeles area with her six children. She’s now embracing a more domestic role within her family, including cooking classes and is looking forward to recapturing her old spark. “I think now I need to rediscover a little bit of the old me,” she said. “I think we lose our way a bit. I have had a lot happen in my life, from certain people passing to health issues to raising the children. But maybe now that my kids are growing up I am starting to realize that my own sense of play has been put on hold for a while. And maybe them hitting their teens is going to bring out a little more fun in Mom. So maybe I am going back. It may be time.”\n<\/p>\n
There have been plenty of rumors about a reconciliation between Pitt and Jolie but a lot of healing has to be done before that will ever take place. They are both extremely independent people who LOVE kids but I don\u2019t think either one of them know how to maneuver a relationship without the kids being a focal point. It also doesn\u2019t help that both of them are workaholics.\n<\/p>\n
